Dignity in Dying are a UK nationwide organisation campaigning for individuals to have greater choice and more control over end-of-life decisions, and therefore alleviate any suffering towards the end of their life.
In autumn 2021 a piece of research was released examining how the current laws in the UK affect dying people, and reveals stories from people who had no option but to take matters into their own hands.
This powerful report was read in parliament regarding the Assisted Dying Bill in October 2021, and aided the passing of the bill unopposed.
