Paradiso (ISTD)

A publication exploring Dante Alighieri's, Canto XXXIII, Paradiso, the final section from The Divine Comedy (1320). In this Canto, Dante's journey rising through Inferno, Purgatory, and Paradiso, concludes with an encounter with The Holy Trinity.
This book plays with the motif of light brought through being printed on translucent Bible paper. This allows for the previous and following stanzas to be visible. Line numbers ascending the sides of the page indicate the reader's position in the poem, as well as connecting to meeting The Holy Trinity.
This publication of Canto XXXIII is accompanied by a collection of writings on Dante's Paradiso by Barbara Reynolds. Both are housed within a fabric box.
